Binh Thuan’s Mui Ne attracts Russian tourists


According to the general director of the Russian travel company Lanta-An, Klokov Igor Nikolaevich, the number of Russian visitors to Binh Thuan has increased since the opening of Lanta-An’s office in Mui Ne.

He said the company brings some 300 Russian visitors to Phan Thiet-Mui Ne per month, and the number could rise to 1,000 per month later this year when the weather becomes chilly in Russia.

The Hanoi-based Nhat Minh Tourism Company also brings Russian tourists to Mui Ne. Russians accounted for 11.3 percent of the 20,000 foreign visitors to Mui Ne in the first three months this year, according to figures from Binh Thuan Tourism Department.
